Kings of Leon bassist Jared Followill, the youngest of the four Followills who make up the Grammy Award-winning band, married girlfriend Martha Patterson, a model, earlier today in Charlotte, Tenn., a rep for the band tells The Hollywood Reporter.
The 25-year-old Followill proposed at his Nashville home in April. He is the last of his bandmates to get hitched: 33-year-old brother Nathan, KOL’s drummer, married singer-songwriter Jessie Baylin in November 2009, the same month guitarist cousin Matthew, 28, wed musician Johanna Bennett. Singer and second oldest brother Caleb, 30, also married a model, Lily Aldridge, in May 2011.
Tweeted Patterson on Saturday morning: “Marrying my best friend today. I’m the luckiest girl in the world.” To which Followill cracked via Twitter: “Today, I get married. It’s the biggest step I’ve ever taken. I’ve dreamed about this day since I was a little girl.”
The wedding at Front Porch Farms has been described as “rustic.” The bride wore a Monique Lhuillier dress while the groom and groomsmen were in Gucci.
According to reports, Patterson’s engagement ring was self-designed and featured a 4-carat cushion-cut diamond atop a diamond band.

It is the second high-profile rocker’s wedding to take place in the Nashville area in as many weeks. Last Saturday, Black Keys drummer Patrick Carney said “I do” in a ceremony officiated by Saturday Night Live’s Will Forte.
